What we are looking for in you

We have two positions available – 1 Full-Time (37.5 hours) & 1 Part-Time (20 hours)

We’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and inspiring individuals to join our Development Team as Tenancy Training Officers.
We are looking for someone who can deliver tenancy training to individuals in the community, in line with contract requirements, to help them become tenant-ready. You’ll also provide broader support to ensure a successful transition into independent living. In addition, you’ll work closely with key workers in our YMCA supported accommodation to oversee and maintain the quality of tenancy training delivered internally.

We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently, as lone working is a key part of the role. You’ll need to be comfortable engaging with individuals who may present complex or challenging behaviours, and bring a calm, empathetic approach to every interaction. Above all, you’ll be committed to delivering high-quality support and training with professionalism and care.

You’ll be supported by established systems and a dedicated team, but your ability to work autonomously and adapt to different environments will be key to your success.

This role involves travel across various sites and properties throughout Somerset. A full driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and business insurance are essential.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children and young people. We follow a safer recruitment process, all appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and are required to provide two suitable references.

Please note that interviews may be conducted as applications are received. We reserve the right to close the advertisement early if a suitable candidate is identified.
